Introduction
· Dubai Dolphinarium established May 2008 as part of Dubai Marine World at Dubai Creek Park (originally planned to opened December 2007)
· No shows on Sundays.
· Facilities include a gift shop, photo studio, Happy Valley Restaurant (but you can't eat with the dolphins, only swim with them).
· There is another dolphin display at the Atlantis Dubai hotel on Jumeirah Palm, where swimming with the dolphins is also possible.
· Dolphin and seal show tickets cost AED 100 for Adults and AED 50 for children (only on some day esp at particular time). Ticket bookings can be made online at the Dubai Dolphinarium website.
· Swim-with-the-dolphin enquiries also through the website.
· Location is Gate 1 of Dubai Creek Park.
· Dubai Dolphinarium closed from 02 August to 17 September 2009 for maintenance, reopened on 18 September 2009
Dubai Dolphinarium background
Plans for a dolphinarium in Dubai were announced in 2005, and caused some discontent amongst residents who pointed out that any form of keeping dolphins in captivity was undesirable. The Dubai Municipality said that the Dubai Dolphinarium would provide comfortable facilities for the resident dolphins and carried on with their plans. A petition was started to attempt to dissuade the Dubai Municipality from building the dolphinarium but it went ahead anyway. The first bottle-nosed dolphin moved into the dolphinarium from apparently unsatisfactory conditions in a dolphinarium in the Ukraine.
Location
Garhoud Bridge to Diera:
Cross the Garhoud bridge coming from Diera Dubai side and take the first right at the end of the bridge. Drive about 1 km where you will see Barclays bank on the left. Gate #1 will be immediately on the right.

From World Trade Center to Diera take Wafi Exit also known as Hatta exit go over the bridge and take the second exit right before the first signal and after the exit going to WaFi then turn right going to the Health Care City. Go all the way down until you reach Gate-1 of Creek Park.

Maktoum/Floating Bridge: From Diera:
Take the first right at the end of the bridge and keep left and go towards Dubai Courts. Keep going straight until you arrive at a traffic light just after Rashid Hospital which will be Gate-1 of Creek Park.

From Diera:
Go to Maktoum cross and take first right then stay left. Pass in front of Dubai Courts and continue for two traffic lights. To your left is Gate-1 of Creek Park. The Dolphinarium is at the right 50 meters from the gate inside the park.

From Bur Dubai:
There are two ways to reach Dubai Dolphinarium. Either go towards WaFi Center instead of going to Wafi, go straight until Gate-1 Creek Park.

Go via the Dubai Courts for the road that leads along the creek. At The second traffic light Gate-1 is to the left.
From Sharjah:
Take the Dubai Sharjah highway to Garhoud bridge. At the end of the bridge take an immediate right. Go about 500 meters until you reach the first traffic light. Gate-1 will be to your immediate right.

From Abu Dhabi/Al Ain:
Go down Shk. Zayed road until you reach the turn to Hatta/Grand Hayatt/Wafi. Take the overpass that goes to Dubai/Grand Hayatt/Wafi cross over Shk. Zayed road then at the traffic light take right turn and go all the way straight until you get the Gate-1 of Creek Park.

From Northern Emirates:
Take the Emirates highway until you reach the Diera/Airport exit. Continue until you reach the Shk. Zayed road and go to Garhoud bridge.

At the Creek Park, Gate-1, there is a parking to the left of the gate that will accommodate at least 500 cars. If the parking lot is full then there are other parking lots along the whole creek park. It is recommended that you come at least 1 hour before the show as traffic is unpredictable and parking could take time. As you enter the gate, Dubai Dolphinarium is on the right side about 15 meters down.
