Burj Al Arab is in top 10 honeymoon spots

Dubai could soon see a large influx of lovebirds heading towards its sunny shores, as the emirate, or namely one its five-star properties, has been lauded as one of the most sought after destinations for newly married couples, according to a popular travel website.
HotelsCombined.com has named the Burj Al Arab as one of the Top 10 Honeymoon Destinations, featuring the landmark Jumeirah property as number eight on the list, which has been topped by Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris.
The average Dh13,000 per night Burj Al Arab Hotel nabbed the accolade for its luxurious perks, including reception desks on every floor, rain showers and Jacuzzis in every suite, a Rolls-Royce fleet, butlers on call around the clock and dining under the sea and stars.
Rounding up the top three spots include Halekulani Hotel Honolulu, Hawaii in second place – with the prized one-of-a-kind Vera Wang Suite edging out competition – followed by Conrad Maldives Rangali Island Resort Ari Atoll coming in third.
Other destinations and properties making the cut include the adults-only Mystique Hotel in Santorini, Greece in fourth place, followed by the Amanpuri Resort, Phuket, the Lake Okareka Lodge Rotorua, New Zealand and the Four Seasons Hotel Florence for its art-filled Renaissance palazzo and conventino that frame a centuries-old private park.
Burj Al Arab beat two hotels framed around natural wonders: the Hilton Hotel and Suites Fallsview Niagara Falls, Canada and the Longitude 131 Hotel Ayers Rock, Australia.
HotelsCombined.com is regarded as one of the world’s leading hotel price comparison search engine, streamlining more than 2.5 million real-time international hotel deals simultaneously.
